Three ways in, because the thing you want to report is not always a person you can find later.

• A person. Open their profile, tap the three dots, tap Report.
• Something they said. Hold the message in chat and tap Report.
• A whole cast. Open the audience list and tap Report this cast.

Reports reach us straight away, not the next time somebody opens a console, because a cast is usually still live when it is reported. We act within 24 hours, and accounts that break the rules are removed.

Report carries a block, or you can block on its own from the same menu. Blocking hides what they say, keeps their casts off your feed, and keeps the two of you out of each other's casts in both directions. It takes effect immediately.

Everyone you have blocked is listed under Blocked in Your profile, where you can undo it.

Your profile, at the bottom, under Account. It asks once to be sure. Your account and your handle go, any cast of yours that is live ends, and the handle becomes available to somebody else.

There is not one, and that is the product rather than a missing feature. No audio is recorded, chat messages last 180 seconds and are then gone for everybody, and when a cast ends it is deleted rather than archived. There is no history to fetch, for you or for us.

• Cannot go live. Casts are capped, so when every slot is taken you join a queue and go live when one frees up. First come, first served.
• Cannot change your handle. Not while a cast of yours is live, and accounts get a small number of changes because other people rely on knowing who you are.
• Nobody can hear you. Check that Soapbox has the microphone in iOS Settings, and that you are on the stage rather than in the audience.
