Tag a cast with up to five leagues, teams or categories. Every league carries its full roster, and search finds them by name or by sport. Sports first, and not sports only: there are categories for business, science and technology, music, and everything else.

- How do I get Soapbox?
- Free on the App Store, for iPhone, with every cast feature included. Soapbox holds a thousand accounts while it is young, so if signup says it is full, leave your address and you get one email when a place opens.
- How is it different from sports talk radio?
- Nobody is broadcasting at you. The people talking are other fans, hosts pull listeners up onto the stage, and anyone can end up on the microphone. No callers screened into a queue, and no show to tune in for.
- Is anything recorded?
- No. Audio is relayed live and never written to storage, so there is no archive, no playback and no transcript. When a cast ends there is nothing to go back to, for you, for us, or for a developer using the API.
- Is there a voice API?
- Yes. Create a cast, mint a token for one of your users, and join with it. Your users never need a Soapbox account, and test keys create real casts and are never billed.
Ten casts exist at a time. None last past four hours. Nothing is recorded, and a finished cast is deleted rather than archived. Warnings come at 30, 10, 5 and 1 minute, so you land it rather than getting cut off mid sentence.
If a feature you are planning needs an archive, it cannot be built here. Better to know that now than three days into a build.
